The Germans support that Toyota will reveal a concept study of the iQ Roadster at the next Tokyo Motor Show to be held from Friday, October 23 through Sunday, November 8, 2009 November 2009.

The report says that it is still unclear whether or not Toyota will actually build a production version of the car which will most likely be called Spider, but if it does, it will be offered with the same powertrain options as the iQ hatch, including the 1.0-liter and 1.3-liter gasoline engines and a 1.4-liter diesel. Wishful thinking or reality? We'll let you decide.
