In approximately 60 days from now Toyota will lift the covers off the next-generation Prius hybrid at the Detroi Auto Show. The Japanese firm thought it might be a good idea to launch a dedicated micro-site on its official U.S. page that shows nothing more than a countdown clock. Pointless to say the least as the first official pictures of the 2010 Prius have already made their way into the web-o-sphere while even Toyota itself has released a set of teaser shots portraying details of the forthcoming dedicated hybrid model. Then again, we did post a story on this so we guess Toyota achieved its goal... You can see both sets of photos after the jump.
