All-New Honda Accord Sedan and Tourer Go on Sale in Japan
The new 2009 Honda Accord Sedan and its estate sibling, dubbed Tourer, that are already available in Europe (the sedan version is sold in the States as the Acura TSX) have finally made their way into their home market. From December 5, 2008, Honda's Japanese dealers will begin sales of both variants of the new Accord which will be offered exclusively with a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine hooked up to a 5-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters. Prices in Japan start from 2,700,000 Yen ($29,100) for the entry-level sedan model and reach 4,100,000 Yen ($44,200) for a fully equipped Tourer with the sports package. c
