TechArt Launches New Tuning Program for Porsche 911 Carrera 4S

A new comprehensive tuning program for the latest 911 Carrera 4S has been released by Porsche tuner TechArt. The available upgrades for the four-wheel drive version of the 911 concern both mechanical and cosmetic aspects of the car. Starting off with the Carrera 4S' 3.8-liter boxer engine, a reprogrammed ECU and a "Racing" flap-controlled exhaust system that includes two stainless steel racing headers as well as a sports catalytic converter, rear muffler with exhaust flap, an exhaust flap control unit and twin oval tailpipes in high-gloss or black chrome, boost output from 385HP to 415HP.

To improve handling, TechArt offers a sport suspension featuring coilover shock absorbers with an adjustable rebound and pressure stage plus special main and additional springs. There's also a 'nose-lift' system that raises the vehicle's ride height by up to 60mm (for speeds up to 60km/h - 37mph) at a toch of a button to tackle curbsides and other ramps.

Buyers may also opt to equip the 911 Carrera 4S with 19 or 20 inch alloy wheels in various designs as well as a new aero kit that consists of a front spoiler, side skirts, roof spoiler, decorative trim for the exterior mirrors and headlamp surrounds, three different rear wings plus a new rear diffuser.

For the interior, TechArt's offerings range from a plethora of different leathers and three-spoke spoke airbag steering wheel designs to aluminum pedals and trim strips.
