Ford Focus X Road with Off-Road Looks Premieres at AutoRAI
FoMoCo somewhat surprised us today with the unveiling of the Focus X Road at the AutoRAI motorshow in Holland. Based on the European market Focus station-wagon, the X Road adds a plastic-is-fantastic black bodykit as well as matt aluminum underbody skid trays to give the car a semi-SUV look in the likes of Audi's Allroad models but well, that's about it. No jacked up suspension or four-wheel drive system here. The X Road will be offered exclusively with a 125HP 1.8-liter engine that can run on unleaded gasoline or bio-ethanol or a combination of the two.
